Winter is in full swing: it's cold, wet, windy and most days, light is on the gloomier side. Just as we respond to these weather conditions by hunkering down, the growth of your plants has slowed and they are sitting it out until spring. Here's what you need to know to support them in their dormancy. 

As your plants put on loads of new growth throughout Summer they can become a bit unwieldy. To prevent complete tendril-takeover, climbing and trailing plants can be trained so that they take up less space.
